 The sales of this coffee helps us support the Aspinall Foundation and their #Backtothewild project. #Backtothewild is the ambitious initiative of the Aspinall Foundation to return captive-born animals to their ancestral homelands.  In summer, the Aspinall Foundation plan to send a herd of 13 elephants from Howletts Wild Animal Park, their partner sanctuary in Kent, to the wilderness of Kenya, where they can roam free in their ancestral homelands. They are working together with the Kenyan Wildlife Service to ensure a safe and successful transition in what is the first ever rewilding effort of an entire herd. For every bag of Elephant & Castle beans we sell, £1 is donated to the Aspinall Foundation to support their project.

The Classic Plus Coffee Maker, crafted by the renowned Norwegian brand Wilfa, brews filter coffee in the traditional manner while streamlining the process. Say goodbye to the usual labor-intensive steps associated with making the best filter coffee. To use the Classic Plus Coffee Maker: Fill the water tank with fresh water. Insert a paper filter into the filter holder. Add your desired amount of ground coffee. Press the ‘Wilfa’ button on the base. The brewer will heat the water and evenly distribute it over the coffee, allowing it to drip into the carafe below. Adjust the flow into the carafe based on your preference for coffee strength. Keep it ‘closed’ briefly to allow the coffee to brew further, and then ‘open’ to release the flow. The manual drip-stopper prevents coffee from dripping onto the hotplate when you remove the carafe. The Classic Plus ensures an optimal water temperature between 92°C and 96°C, delivering your coffee quickly. In less than 10 minutes, you’ll have 1 to 10 cups of freshly brewed coffee to savor.
